Twitter is a micro blog which allows users to publish short messages, usually refer as “Tweets”, of 140 characters or less. One can post images as well along with his/her tweets. Twitter users are able to post their tweets from numerous devices and platforms, including the iPhone, Android, Blackberry, or Windows Phone devices and traditional computers.

  1. In order to sign in Twitter account, you simply need to visit and enter the requisite details including your full name, phone number and a  password. Following which, you will have to click on the “Sign Up for Twitter” tab.

  2. Next, your phone number will be verified by Twitter. You will receive a code in the form of an SMS, which you will need to enter in the box provided on the web page.

  3. Then, you can go ahead and select a unique username. You can do so, by typing in your own chosen name, or accepting the one suggested by Twitter. In case, you chosen name is already taken, you will be required to pick something else.

  4. It is advised at this point for you to double check the details provided by you, along with your username and password, which will come in handy any time you would later wish to access your account.

  5. Now, click the ‘Create My Account Tab’. At this stage, you might be required to complete a Captcha, to prove that you’re human.

  6. In case you wish, you can also create a Twitter Account, using any email address that you’re currently using. In order to do so, you will need to click the ‘Use Email  Instead’ tab on the sign up page.

  • Access your Twitter account, from the Twitter Login Page, simply by putting in your username and password. Once you do that simply click on the ‘sign in’ tab and you will be taken to your homepage.

  • If either of your username or password is wrong, you may be required to click on the ‘recover password’.

  • However, before you do that, you can try typing in your password somewhere else, like on the notepad or MS Word, and then copy and paste it in the space provided for the password. This will help you in avoiding any mistake while typing the password since you would be able to see the characters clearly.

  • Also, since passwords are case sensitive it is important to check if your caps-lock key is on/off. Then you can try Twitter Login once again.

  • In case, even that doesn’t work, then you might want to click on the ‘forgot password’ tab and recover your password through a series of verification steps as directed by Twitter.
